[Куплет 1] Molly found a silver shoe Beside the barrel, bright and new She tried it on and took three spins Then blamed the fiddle when she grinned [Предприпев] Raise your mug and count to four, Someone’s knocking at the door! [Припев] Hey ho, swing it wide, Clap your hands and step inside! Hey ho, laugh and sing, Let the whole old rafters ring! [Куплет 2] Paddy lost his hat at noon, Found it dancing with the moon Bridget winked and led him through A reel he swore he never knew [Предприпев] Raise your mug and count to four, Someone’s dancing on the floor! [Fiddle and recorder call-and-response] [Бридж] One for the fiddler, two for the drum, Three for the rascal who tells us to come Four for the friend with a grin like a fox, Five for the boots that are shaking the blocks!
