Lyrics
[Verse 1] I roll in with a grin too wide Shoelace loose and a look in my eye Got a dime-store crown and a paper plane And i’m still on time when i skip the lane You say, “what’s that bounce?” i say, “watch me go” Got a pocketful of jokes and a pocketful of glow I talk too fast, then i pull it back Like a smile with a spark and a snap-snap-snap [Pre-Chorus] Oh, you can feel it now Feet go tap on the tile Oh, the room leans in When i turn that crooked smile [Chorus] Pocketful of confetti Pocketful of confetti If the day gets heavy I throw it up, i throw it up Pocketful of confetti Keep it cute and messy Tell the whole room, “ready?” I throw it up, i throw it up [Verse 2] I seen a bad mood sulk at the door So i winked at it once, then i asked for more Put a little twist in a boring line Made the whole first row start to beam in time And when the bass walks by, i nod my head Like, “yeah, that’s the one,” that’s what i said I’m half punchline, half parade With a velvet-loud heart and a hand-made wave [Pre-Chorus] Oh, you can hear it now Clap line starts to climb Oh, the whole place tilts When i hit that final rhyme [Chorus] Pocketful of confetti Pocketful of confetti If the day gets heavy I throw it up, i throw it up Pocketful of confetti Keep it cute and messy Tell the whole room, “ready?” I throw it up, i throw it up [Bridge] Now i step real tall, then i bow real low One hand on my chest, let the whole crowd know I can laugh through the cracks, i can sing through the sway Turn a small little spark to a whole big day Oh-oh, watch me spin it Oh-oh, i’m in it Oh-oh, here we go Let the trouble go [Final chorus] Pocketful of confetti Pocketful of confetti If the day gets heavy I throw it up, i throw it up Pocketful of confetti Keep it cute and messy Tell the whole room, “ready?” I throw it up, i throw it up Pocketful of confetti Pocketful of confetti And if you’re still with me Sing it back, sing it back
