Amelia Earhart: The Flight That Never Landed

On 2 July 1937 Amelia Earhart's voice reached the Coast Guard cutter Itasca off Howland Island: she could not see the island, could not hear the ship, and was running low on fuel. Then the radio went silent, and eighty years of searching have not found the Electra.
